I have been training with Ismat for over an year now. My reason for joining with her was to overcome arthritis pains and have a normal life. Prior to joining her, the doctor asked me to limit all activities. once the doctor has given clearnace, i joined with her. The stretches she recommended gave me some relief to start with. Slowly and steadily I started improving. After few months I had some other health issue and she had patiently supported me throughout. Now I have almost recovered from both health issues. In 2023–24, I lost 20 kg within a year, but after I stopped training, all my old issues came back. I have been dealing with rheumatoid arthritis, frozen shoulder, tennis elbow, trigger thumb, and sciatica. Gradually, the pain returned—especially in my lower back, hip joint, and coccyx area.

That’s when I decided to restart my rehab with Dr. Ismat. With proper guidance and structured strength training, I began recovering again. Today, I’m able to perform exercises like deadlifts and barbell squats, which once felt impossible.

I used to be an active athlete until college and suffered a lot of sports injuries. After joining work I reduced playing much and with age the injuries started flaring up. I also had put on lot of weight, especially after marriage and with hectic work schedules. I chose Ismat because of a friend’s recommendation and it was one of the best decisions. Ismat being a doctor guided me good with nutrition and workouts. Although workouts were easy for me coz of my past sports experience, getting my body to understand my diet was tough and she helped us a lot on that. After 4 months I saw 7 kgs in reduction. But more than the weight reduction it’s the other things that made me happy. I was more confident about handling injuries, sickness and getting back after injuries. I learnt how to keep a track of my diet even during sickness. My appetite has changed for good and I m able to listen to what my body needs. I became more active, earlier I used to be exhausted by the time I m done with work. I also saw other minor changes like hair growth, reduced hairfall, stronger & healthy hair and glowing skin. I had pcos and had difficulties with getting periods on time. In 2-3 months I got it reversed and been having regular periods. My cholesterol levels have also gone down. I'm writing this a bit late, but when I reflect back on my 2023 year , I have to say a huge thanks to Dr. Ismat! When I enrolled under her in May, I was suffering from chronic backache.Even after doing physiotherapy sessions with a couple of physiotherapists, pain was not getting relieved! When I enrolled under her, I requested a video conference call and made her understand my concerns and also mentioned that I am postponing my pregnancy due to this backache!! She made a rehab plan accordingly along with a diet plan! I did rehab exercises exactly like that, and slowly, we started with lightweight strength training! I would say that within 4 months of time , I had confidence in lifting 5kg dumbells in comparison to earlier, where I was not able to lift 1kg due to fear🙃 I am happy to share that I am 4.5 months pregnant with minimal backache! I am scoliosis patient (curvature in spine unlike straight spine in normal people) and due to which one side of the body becomes overactive and another side becomes under-active as a result imbalance in body. For the last 1 year I was not working out or doing any weight training as advised by my other physiotherapist prior to Ismat mam. Due to imbalance in the body, a particular side of the body starts losing strength and it becomes very difficult to stand, sit or even sleep as muscles doesn't have strength to support body in any activity of the body which leads to pain in most of the parts of body. I was having severe left scapula pain, radiating pain in legs, lower back, glutes almost every part of body I was having pain and I stopped taking care of body in terms of diet as mentally I was going low. The least I was measured was 56 kgs and my current age is 30 years. Then I decided to move ahead and start working out in gym as I am passionate about fitness because somewhere in my mind I have a belief that if I start working out then I'll definitely heal from this bodily pains and weak muscle issues. But I cannot directly start working out as doctors has advised me to not lift weights and this time I need proper guidance to continue my journey and go longer along with healing of body. I was looking for a coach who have expertise in body movements, muscles strengthening and who knows about scoliosis, so basically a physiotherapist along with knowledge of fitness and diet. I came to know about Ismat mam and before enrolling I spoke to her and told all my bodily physical issues. She is very polite and she very well understand the problem. She prepared diet chart, my workout plan "yes she didn't adviced me to not to lift weights" and along with this rehab exercises. When I enrolled under her my weight was 58.2 kgs. I religiously started following everything she has planned for me and I started feeling better day by day. And exactly on 17th day (yes I could remember because I was very closely observing my body) my scapula pain was gone completely and my body started gaining strength. My muscles starts responding well and today after completion of 3 months I am in much much better position. Intially it was difficult to lift even 5kgs of dumbbell and today I could lift sufficiently heavy weight (this is just to say as to answer how well body recovered). With each week passing by my body started responding very well and each week I have gain approximately 300 to 500 gms of weight. And today after 3 Months by body weights 64.4 kgs with good lean muscles I.e. in total I gained 6.2 kgs. To say about her diet she was very flexible with what I would like to eat and on weekly progress calls every time she used to ask me about my diet, workouts and rehab exercises. Her diet was very simple, not at all fancy. My diet includes the food sources that a normal person eats daily. One can reach out to her at any time if someone is facing any issues in terms of food, diet and workout. I thank you Ismat mam for your guidance, support and help. Because of you I have started my fitness journey once again for which I am passionate about. Thank you for pushing me during the peak lockdown time as I was diverted from my routine in this period.

I came to her with a lot of confusion, fear and honestly zero clarity about what was happening with my back.

I have been getting coached under Ismat from more than an year now. It was the Connect event of Fittr where I was talking about by L4-L5 disc bulge issues with coach Siddesh Vojhala. I was advised by him to go for a consultation with Ismat Khoja. I talked to Ismat and explained my problems and told her that I want to get transformmed without effecting my lower back or worsening it. I was very much impressed with the way she was handling the situation and I decided to register with her. She gave me customised rehab program and we started out on workouts and diet plans as suggested. I bugged her with all the questions and she patiently answered all of them and I was amazed of the knowledge she has. She keeps thing simple, precise and on point.
